Do You Have to Buy Minecraft Again if You Have a New Account
Hello there cowlikeswheat48 welcome to the customs forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan but like yous and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really dearest to make your day past helping you out. No, do not rebuy the game! Effort the following:
If y'all accept any other Launcher on your estimator other than the 1 plant on Mojang's official website y'all must beginning do the following:
ane - Delete the Launchers that exist on your computer that are not official Mojang;
2 - Restart your calculator;
3 - Download the original software again and install:
https://www.minecraft.net/en-u.s./download
If you don't take another Launcher on your computer or have already deleted:
i - Open Minecraft Laucher;
2 - If you lot are already logged in, click on your epitome and Gamertag in the upper left corner of the screen then on "Logout";
three - If you are already logged out or not logged in to your business relationship, delete all accounts registered in Launcher by clicking on the "10" next to each account;
4 - In Minecraft Launcher, enter the e-mail and password of your Microsoft account!

I can't access the launcher or delete the accounts registered in it without logging dorsum into my account though. when I click "log out" information technology just brings me to the login screen with the microsoft/mojang login buttons. am I doing something wrong?

Hmmm I advise you lot try these basic troubleshooting steps!
Open up Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;
Click Check for Updates;
Click the Download and Install At present choice, if available;
Also, check the Microsoft Store for whatever updates on the Xbox apps and its services.
So try this:
Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.
Later that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try over again.
And so do the same for the Xbox app:
Get to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.
Later on that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.
If it even so doesn't work you're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command, and then you lot're going to open the gamepass app, it will ask yous to download and install the game services again :
In the windows search bar type Powershell > Correct click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and effort again.

exact aforementioned thing happening to me and i really do not desire to purchase the game again
